How to order team shirts without the spreadsheet

· 4 min read · Bulk & teams

Anyone who has organised kit for a team knows the pattern: a WhatsApp group, a spreadsheet, three people who never reply, and one shirt in the wrong size.

Collect sizes once

Rather than asking everyone individually, share one link. Each person picks their own size and enters the name and number they want printed. You see the roster fill up in real time.

Sizing advice

Ask people to compare against a shirt they already own rather than guessing a letter. Sizing varies between garments, and "medium" is not a fixed quantity.

For a mixed group, ordering one or two spares in the middle sizes is cheaper than a reprint.

Names and numbers

Each shirt can carry a different name and number on the same design. Get the spelling confirmed by the person themselves — this is the single most common reprint we see.

Leave time for the proof

We send a proof before printing, and nothing goes to the press until you approve it. Build a day into your timeline for that, especially if the kit is needed for a fixture.
